Series M Mini Stainless Steel Body Air Cylinders

Tube: Type 304 stainless steel, polished to a micro-inch finish on the I.D. To provide for low friction and long life. A matte finish on the O.D. to provide for smudge resistance.
Heads and Caps: Aluminum construction with precision machining to provide a smooth break away. The tube-to-head connection is a strong double rolled construction.
Stainless Steel Piston Rods: Corrosion resistant stainless steel is now the standard piston rod material for all bore sizes up to and including 1.50 inch bore at no additional cost. The only exception to the stainless steel standard is when a hollow rod or non-rotating hexagonal rod option is specified. Stainless steel is also the standard material on block, trunnion and KDX mounts.
Pre-Lubrication: All Series M cylinders are factory prelubricated for use with or without added lubrication.
Bumpers: are standard on select bore sizes.
Piston Body: Pistons are precision machined aluminum construction. Piston rod connections are threaded and loctited to provide for leakproof and durable service.
Seals: All piston and rod seals are of a lip seal construction. Buna-N is standard on all models (Viton seals are available as an option).
Rod Bushings: Oil impregnated bronze reamed to a close tolerance provides for a smooth operation and long life.
Unitized Construction: Precision double-rolled unitized construction provides durable, leak-proof service and long life.
Twelve Bore Sizes: 5/16" thru 3". Series M cylinders are designed to be dimensionally interchangeable with other major stainless steel cylinders.

Series RTC Rodless Cylinders Pneumatic Shuttle Type

The Series RTC is the latest generation of rodless cylinders from Rexroth, building on years of experience with rodless cylinder design. The RTC features a very robust, virtually leak-free design with high speed capability. Offering inch and metric options in four main versions, the RTC can be custom configured on-line. By choosing the Easy-To-Combine option, the RTC can be combined with other Rexroth standard actuators to build modular automation systems.

OVERVIEW:

RTC-BV Basic Version
Used at low and medium torques. Available in bore sizes 5/8'' to 3'', and 16mm to 80mm.

RTC-CG Compact Guide
Used at low loads and torques, where extra high precision is required. Available in bore sizes 5/8" to 1-1/2", and 16mm to 40mm. Uses Bosch Rexroth linear miniature ball rail systems for all bores sizes except the largest, which uses the standard ball rail system.

RTC-EG eLine Guide
Used at low and medium torques, where higher precision than offered by RTC-BV is required. Available in bore sizes 5/8", 1", 1-1/4" and 16, 25 and 32mm. Uses Bosch Rexroth linear eLine ball rail system, guide made of lightweight aluminum with bearing steel ball tracks.

RTC-HD Heavy Duty
Used with high loads and torques (heavy duty) where extra high precision is required. Available in bore sizes 5/8" to 2-1/2" and 16 to 63mm. Uses Bosch Rexroth linear standard ball rail system with steel guide.

RTC-RR Replacement Series RMC
Used only to replace a Series RMC (RexMover) cylinder. Not to be used for new design. Similar to RTC-BV but supplied with a mounting plate on the shuttle according to cylinder RMC-BV, and a mounting kit. Available in bore sizes 5/8" to 3" and 16 to 80mm.

RTC-RI Replacement Series 170
Used only to replace a Series 170 cylinder. Not to be used for new design. Similar to RTC-BV but supplied with a mounting plate on the shuttle according to cylinder Series 170, and a mounting kit. Available in bore sizes 5/8" to 3" and 16 to 80mm.

Small Bore Cylinders For Air, Oil, Water, Vacuum Air Pressure to 150 PSI Oil Pressure to 2000 PSI Bores - 5/8", 1", 1 1/2", and 2"

Small-bore, heavy-duty industrial cylinders. They fill the need for small diameter cylinders of rugged construction and exceptionally high quality.
Pressure rating according to service. Four bores, 5/8" to 2" and choice of standard or oversize rods.

Air cylinders are solid brass construction. Hydraulic cylinders have steel barrels with brass ends except 5/8" bore which is all brass. Cylinder rods are 416 stainless steel. Piston and rod seals are self-adjusting. Seals are of synthetic rubber, usually cup-type on air cylinders, multiple-V on hydraulics, O-rings on vacuum cylinders and on 5/8'' bore cylinders.

Bore and Rod Diameters
Oversize rods are available for all except 5/8" bore double-end-rod cylinders.
External stops are required on the extension stroke of 1" bore cylinders with 3/4" rods.
All rod threads are NF and are full diameter of the rod.

Stroke Lengths Available
Double-acting cylinders are available in even increments up to 120 inches. Other fractional lengths carry a price additive. On long strokes, you may need an oversize piston rod to prevent buckling. Single-acting cylinders are available in 1/2" increments up to 4". Longer strokes are on a custom quote basis from the factory.

Cushions and Flow Controls
Cushions are available for all sizes of hydraulic cylinders. Not recommended for air cylinders and not available for vacuum cylinders. If cushions are desired, specify rod end, blind end, or both ends.
Flow controls are similar to cushions but are effective throughout the entire stroke. They are built into the cylinder if specified on order. The standard practice is to supply them with free-flow return check valves. To order, specify meter-out flow control in rod end, blind end, or both ends.

Miscellaneous Options and Special Features
Certain special options are available if specified on your order. Please refer to Airoyal catalog for details. Options include rod wipers, rod scrapers, hard chrome plating on rod, special seals, special threads, oversize ports, double ports, and others. Wrench flats are standard on all models.

Rotary Actuator Cylinder actuated, rack and pinion rotary actuator. Will operate at 150 PSI air or 500 PSI hydraulic. Angle of shaft rotation must be specified on order. Choice of 1/4-turn (90º), 1/2- turn, 3/4-turn, or full 360º. Options available which must be specified on order: special angle of rotation (if required); speed control valves for either or both directions; cushions on either or both ends of rotation; adjustable stroke stop at either or both ends of rotation; or double shaft. Also state whether for air or oil use.
