MDD Series Digital AC Servo Motors
Drives with MDD AC servo motors are especially well-suited for use in tool,
textile, printing and packaging machines, as well as robotics, handling equipment
and transfer facilities. MDD motors assure high contouring accuracies at high feedrates,
in particular when used for cutting in high speed ranges
The digital MDD AC servo motors are permanent magnet-excited synchronous
motors with electronic commutation. The permanent magnets of the rotor are made
of rare-earth or iron oxide magnetic materials. The use of such materials makes
it possible to construct a motor with low inertia. For product reference and support view the Bosch Rexroth MDD with standard cooling Project Planning Guide.
