PEDESTAL FOOT MOUNT To order specify: A25FM, A37FM, A50FM, A62FM, A100FM, A125FM
Shaft Options (Standard shaft has no ordering suffix.)
Flats on Shafts (Specify Suffix “-1” or “-2”) Hydraulic motors are available with one or two machined flats on both the long (FM & FMO) and short (F) shaft models.
Tapped Holes on Ends of Shaft (Specify Suffix “-DT”) Hydraulic motors are also available with 1/4-20 tapped holes on the end of the shaft that are 1-1/8 inches deep. (Drawing not shown.)
Optional Larger Key on Shaft (Specify Suffix “-K”) Available for long shaft (FM & FMO) motors only.
Note: The above options are stocked items. Any combination of these options will require lead time.
The rotor gear of these low-weight motors rolls through four complete “CYCLES” for each revolution of the output shaft. Thus, four times greater torque at one-fourth of the conventional speed is obtained without the use of gear reducers. In other words, with Lamina Motors the same amount of torque is assured as you would get from a much larger ordinary motor that is considerably more expensive.
Of considerable importance to application design engineers is the smooth rotation and long life of these unique motors. Because the motors have five fluid chambers, the inherent four-to-one ratio provides twenty fluid power cycles for each revolution of the output shaft.
This feature assures a distinct addition: Lamina motors have only three moving parts (motor shaft, spline drive, gerotor star) – this greatly extends the service life.
Within the broad range of each gerotor, any torque or speed can be readily secured. Also the various sizes of gerotors available provide a torque range from 0 to 656 inch-lbs. and R.P.M. ranging from 0 to 2255. High selectivity to exactly meet requirements is inherent in these motors.
Lamina recommends parallel circuits versus series circuits, because the back pressure generated cannot exceed 300 psi.
Recommended Oil: Mobil® DTE 13 (ISO-32 Hydraulic Oil).

 RE Series
RE Series motors offer the perfect compromise between price and performance by producing work horse power at a reasonable cost. Although these motors perform well in a wide range of applications, they are especially suited for low flow, high pressure applications. During startup, pressure causes the balance plate to flex toward the rotor, vastly improving volumetric efficiency. As the motor reaches operating pressure, the balance plate relaxes, allowing the rotor to turn freely which translates into higher mechanical efficiencies. Transmitting this power to the output shaft is the most durable drive link in its class. Four bearing options, combined with standard mounting flanges and output shafts, allow the motor to be configured to suit nearly any application.
FEATURES
- Heavy-Duty Drive Link is the most durable in its class and receives full flow lubrication to provide long life.
- Valve-In-Rotor Design provides cost effective, efficient distribution of oil and reduces overall motor length.
- Pressure-Compensated Balance Plate improves volumetric efficiency at low flows and high pressure.
- Three Bearing Options allow load carrying capability of motor to be matched to application.
- High Pressure Viton® Shaft Seal offers superior seal life and performance and eliminates need for case drain.

CE Series
The combination of compact size, light weight and low speed efficiency make the CE motor the best wheel drive motor available. To reduce overall motor length and weight, all unnecessary material was removed from the housing and the valve was placed in the face of the rotor. The pressure-compensated balance plate allows the motor to maintain high volumetric efficiencies at startup and high mechanical efficiencies during running conditions. All of these features unite to make the CE Series motor 10-25% lighter and more compact than competitive designs, making it perfect for applications with strict weight and size requirements. For

DR Series
Due to its case drain design, the DR Series motor is an excellent medium size motor for applications with high-duty cycles or frequent direction reversal. The case drain design produces a number of benefits including reduction of pressure on the shaft seal and the ability to provide a cooling loop for the system. The case flow also lubricates the vital drive components, extending motor life. An internal drain option is also available. A laminated manifold and three-zone orbiting valve are used to produce higher overall efficiencies and more usable power. A steel faced seal in the orbiting valve also reduces the risk of the seal extruding or melting, which is possible in competitive designs. For
