Hub City, Inc. became a wholly owned Subsidiary of Regal-Beloit Corporation in 1992, a year that also marked Hub City's 100th anniversary. Over the years, Hub City has provided power transmission products for use in packaging, recreation, transportation, military, construction, arts and entertainment, communication, material handling, medical and food processing equipment. Over 50% of Hub's products are either modified or completely customized. One of the best benefits of doing business with Hub City is its exceptional engineering capabilities. A company on the leading edge of technology, Hub City takes pride in understanding its customers' needs and in providing cost effective solutions. For example, Hub City provided extensive engineering support and over 1,800 custom gear drives to develop Solar One, the world's first solar power plant located in the Mojave Desert.
Hub City's success with custom-designed products has inspired one of the most extensive, high quality standard product lines in the industry. The company makes a wide range of worm gear, bevel, parallel shaft and in-line speed reducers, mounted bearings and the Mina-Gearª subfractional horsepower gearmotors. Standard and modified products are assembled within 24 hours after receipt of the customer's order at one of Hub's six North American Assembly Distribution Centers. Hub City also offers quick turnaround on custom components and prototypes. In many cases, Hub City will have a prototype in the customer's hands before the competition can finish a quote.
Hub City offers one of the most extensive standard product lines in the industry. The company manufactures a wide range of worm gear, bevel gear, parallel shaft and in-line speed reducers, speed increasers and mounted bearings. The Poweratio® 2000 High Efficiency gear drives are available in Helical Inline, Helical Bevel, Helical Worm drives, and Compact Helical Parallel configurations.
Hub City is raising their commitment to the pharmaceutical, meat, poultry and produce processing industries to a new level to provide ultimate motion solutions for these washdown environments. These new products include stainless steel and composite thermoplastic mounted bearings and stainless steel or acrylic painted gear drives. Four levels of washdown protection make up the product offering.
Hub City has the ability to provide standard, modified standard and custom products, no matter how large or small. Hub City is committed to providing excellent customer service, outstanding quality, fine workmanship and timely delivery of all Hub City components.
