Did you know that 70% of Americans believe companies should take strides to “make the world a better place?” Womack does just that. We take responsibility for our communities—one of our core values is our commitment to fostering a “heart to care” among our employees. We prioritize community service, charitable giving and fundraising for a cause. Take our recent partnership with Stupid Strong at our annual National Sales Meeting.
Every year, Womack hosts a National Sales Meeting for our suppliers and employees. In addition to recapping the successes and highlights from the past year, we encourage attendees to donate to a charity beneficiary. This year, we partnered with Stupid Strong, a nonprofit organization devoted to raising awareness of gastric cancer, advancing funding for research and providing education and aid to families in need who are affected by the disease.
“We value and applaud Womack for instilling [corporate social responsibility] in its company’s culture and are honored to be their partner,” Stupid Strong commented after the event.
Womack believes that our employees are stronger and more powerful together. We regularly encourage company events that give back, like our yearly participation in the Muscular Dystrophy Association Muscle Walk, which funds research and services for people with more than 40 different muscle-damaging diseases. With the help of employees, friends and our Supplier partners, Womack has raised over $1.9 million since 2005 for MDA, helping to send hundreds of kids to MDA summer camp.
Our collective drive to make the world a better place makes our company stronger. If you’re looking to build a career that leaves a lasting impact, we’ve got a job for you. Come join the team making a difference as we put worlds in motion. Ready to get started with us?
