Snow / Ice Controls
Chromalox Snow Melting Systems are used to keep walkways, entrance ways, parking garage ramps, loading ramps, stairways and other areas free of snow and ice. These electric snow melting systems reduce snow removal costs, help to avoid slip and fall accidents, and help prevent damage to expensive flooring caused by tracked in sand, salt or other chemicals used to melt ice. Chromalox utilizes mineral insulated heating cable with a rugged, chemical resistance Alloy 825 sheath. Watt densities to 50 watts per foot are available in voltages from 120 to 480 volts. Chromalox carries a complete line of snow melting controls and sensors from single point on/off snow switches to multi point distributed systems. Controls are designed to simplify and economize system operation.

Heat Trace Panels
The Chromalox intelliTRACE and weatherTRACE control systems provide temperature control, monitoring, and power management in one package. From state of the art Multiple Circuit Panels to best in class digital thermostats, Chromalox now offers a full line of industry leading Industrial Controls, Panel and Accessories to meet the most demanding Heat Trace applications. The ITLS/ITAS Panel Series is the flagship of the new fleet of products. The ITLS/ITAS Series provides 40 Amps of SSR Power switching in 6 – 72 circuits per system. It offers total process monitoring & management, either locally or remotely, including Soft start & Sensor Mapping. The easy to program and navigate 10″ touch screen computer is the brains behind the new system. Our DTS, the benchmark of digital thermostats, provides a single, 30 Amp point of control that also employs a soft start feature. Both of these new lines are suitable for Class I, Division 2 environments.
