The evc controller from HCT offers the user multiple options in one neat package. The command signal can be either industry standard voltage ( 0 to 5 or 0 to 10V ) or current ( 4 to 20mA ) while the mobile industry can take advantage of the SAE J1939 compatibility using it as a powerful and effective local control node for distributed systems. The one controller allows for basic proportional valve control as well as more complex applications that involve anti-stall, horse power optimization or even an automotive style operating platform, making this a very versatile all-in-one module. Set-up tools such as data logging and real time graphing are available in the PC based Graphical User Interface which is also used for all configuration and operational modes selection, saving the settings once completed. The evc module has been designed to be a cost effective solution to many of today's valve control projects, so the unit uses standard Deutsch connectors, operates with minimal wiring requirements and is fully encapsulated top protect to IP69K, meaning it can be mounted externally in extreme environments to save costly enclosures. The epc controller from HCT is designed to control variable displacement hydraulic pumps that can operate with or without swashplate feedback. The controller has multiple output options that allows it to control pumps using one valve for 0 to 100% flow, two valves for 0 to 100% flow in A or B directions or one valve offset to mid position to give 0 to100% flow in A or B directions. The module will accept industry standard command and feedback signals of 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC, 4-20mA or Pulse and can also accept digital commands from SAE J1939 systems allowing this to become a remote intelligent node on a mobile networked solution. All functions are annunciated by colored LED's, while all the internal electronics are fully protected from environmental extremes by the total encapsulation in flame resistant resin. The use of 12 way heavy duty, industry standard Deutsch connectors gives the unit a full IP69K rating and the sealed mini-B USB connector gives an easy direct connection the user PC for configuration, data logging or diagnostics.
