Sun Hydraulics designs and manufactures high performance screw-in hydraulic cartridge valves and manifolds which are used to control force, speed and motion as integral components in fluid power systems. Sun's products allow machine designers to develop innovative and efficient control systems for all types of capital goods. Our hydraulic valves and packaged manifold systems work accurately and reliably, no matter how demanding the application.

Sun's cartridge valves provide pressure, flow, logic, directional and load control and are available in up to 5 sizes (capacities). Flow capacity ranges up to 400 gallons per minute and cartridges are designed to operate at pressures up to 5,000 pounds per square inch. Sun's standard manifolds are offered in an almost limitless variety, including direct mount, line mount, sandwiches, subplates and motor mounts. Custom manifolds can be designed for customer circuit requirements to provide a unique, application specific control system. All manifold products are offered in two basic materials - T6061 aluminum and ductile iron.

Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, Sun has facilities in the United States, England, Germany, and Korea, as well as a joint venture company in China. In business since 1970 and a public company since 1997, Sun sells its products globally to diverse markets of mobile and industrial equipment and machinery manufacturers.
